Meet Dr. Banks

Dr. Banks was born in Virginia, and raised in West Virginia. He attended West Virginia University where he obtained his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS), as well as completing his undergraduate studies in three years. While a student at the West Virginia University School of Dentistry, he was actively involved in many philanthropic organizations. Following dental school, Dr. Banks worked alongside his father, Dr. Kenneth Banks, at his practice Smile Designs of the Shenandoah Valley.

As a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association, International Academy of Facial Aesthetics and the Maryland Dental Association, Dr. Banks is committed to expanding his knowledge of dental practice and keeping up with the new strides that technology and research provide for oral health. In 2013, Dr. Banks was selected to serve as Chair for the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry’s Board of Trustees.

Currently Dr. Banks is pleased to split his time working at his own dental practice, Capital Cosmetic Dentistry, as well as working at Dupont Dental with Dr. Seiden.
